Developing a Culture of Commitment with Donald Cooper

[ad_1]

Donald Cooper is a public speaker and a longtime entrepreneur who holds 7 Excellence Awards for marketing, service and business. Donald believes commitment is key to entrepreneurship.

Donald started his business career at age 6, clearing the floor in the family business at 5 cents a day. He earned an MBA from the University of Western Ontario followed by 18 years at Cooper Canada, the family business. Cooper Canada has become the world’s leading manufacturer of hockey equipment and an iconic Canadian brand.

At age 43 Donald left the family business to do something less corporate, reinventing himself as a fashion award winner. In just 3 years, he fundamentally redesigned the customer experience, where he received 7 Excellence Awards for marketing, service and business innovation.

Donald now helps companies rethink and reinvent themselves to create compelling customer value, goal clarity and long-term profitability. For his unique business content and compelling presentation style, Donald was inducted into the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame.

Children build fortifications, but adults also build fortifications. This is their business. This is where they go to feel safe, secure and in control. Its where they hide from reality.

In this weeks episode of the #StartupCanadaPodcast, sponsored by Mastercard, Donald shares the best business tools for your business and tells us why learning is easy and hard to learn.
