Bollywood Hungama had recently published two explosive articles on how all is not well with Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, with Arbaaz Khan, and produced by Prerna V Arora. The film also marks the debut of Shweta Tiwaris’ daughter Palak Tiwari. In the first article, we informed readers that the vanity van operator refused to let Arbaaz into the van because his dues had not been paid, and also that Vivek Oberoi had been replaced by Arbaaz Khan. Our second article was complete, listing how Prerna V Arora reverted to its old ways and defaulted on payments resulting in financial mess.

Bollywood Hungama has now received yet another shocking news to share regarding this film. A source told us, The final stop on filming took place in Lucknow where the crew was stationed in two hotels for 45 days. The producers did not pay for the accommodation of the cast and crew. Management then began to claim their dues. Realizing that things were going to get out of hand, producer Resabh D Saraf attempted to run away without telling anyone and without making payment. The police were called. Resabh D Saraf was subsequently arrested at Lucknow Airport.
Resabh D Saraf, however, was not detained at the police station but was taken to the Hilton Garden Inn, one of the hotels where the film crew had stayed and payment was pending. The source said Reshabh made a partial payment, after which he was allowed to leave. Final payment has yet to be made to both hotels.
We spoke to Aashish Bajpai, owner of the other hotel, Hotel Metro View, who confirmed last month that the aforementioned episode did take place.
The source told Bollywood Hungama, Payment problems continue; even a little shot is still left. Post-production is also not in order. Prerna V Arora claimed that Rosie: The Saffron Chapter will be released in October but one wonders how Shell will end the film.
There have even been claims that Prerna Arora will start filming on her next production, Iti: Can you solve your own murder, with Vivek Oberoi, in London, from September 15. However, Bollywood Hungama found out that said film has not yet gone to the floors.
