At last, Adele is finally back.

The video begins in the singer’s iconic black and white figure – like her previous music videos for “Hello” and “Someone Like You” – as she prepares to leave an empty house with a suitcase in a patent leather coat brown and sunglasses. . She jumps into a car, inserts a tape before looking in the rearview mirror to show off her trademark cat eyeliner, and drives as the beginning of the song begins to play.

She crosses paths with other young, happy, loving couples as she sings throughout the piano progression. In the second half of the song, the video turns to color to show Adele sitting in a red themed room with overturned furniture scattered around and sheets of music flying as she continues the rest of the song. At the end of the video, it shows a short silliness of the singer bursting into laughter from the wind machine as the director says, “We’re keeping this,” to which Adele replied, “No, you never would!”

The lyrics to “Easy on Me” seemingly tell the story of an attempt to mend a relationship and how giving up doesn’t necessarily mean failure.

The album will be released on November 19. Although Adele, née Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, is now 33 years old, she named each album after the age at which she wrote them. Her last album, “25”, was released in 2015, when she was 27 years old.

The number 30 is an important part of the singer’s life as she broke up and filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Konecki, when she was that age.
