Kim Kardashian West posted a statement on her Instagram Stories and Twitter Monday, which was shared by her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian, saying that “our family is in shock by the tragedy” and that they pray for the victims and anyone affected, “as well as Travis who, we know, cares so much about his fans and is truly devastated.
Kendall Jenner, who attended the AstroWorld event, said she was “at a loss for words” and “sending all my love to everyone who was touched.”
Drake, who made a surprise appearance at AstroWorld — and was continued for his alleged role in the tragedy – posted a statement to Instagram calling the incident a “devastating tragedy” and saying “my heart is broken for the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and for all who suffer”.
Kylie Jenner, also present at the event, addressed the tragedy on Sunday, writing on Instagram stories that “Travis and I are broken and devastated” by the incident and she prays for all who were injured or lost their lives – she also pointed out that “we were not aware of any deaths until ‘until the news came out after the show “.

Fans rushed to the Houston Music Festival stage on Friday, prompting massive stomping that caused cardiac arrest or other injuries to several spectators. Eight people died, including a victim who was just 14 years old. Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, announced on Monday that spectators will be reimbursed for their tickets and that he will pay for the funerals of those who have lost their lives. The Houston Police Department has launched a criminal investigation into the tragedy and is trying to determine what prompted the crowd to move forward so intensely. At least 20 lawsuits have been filed against Scott, Drake and LiveNation, who hosted the concert, and lawyers representing those affected by the incident said more will be filed in the coming days.
