More recently, actors and trans activists Holly Stars, Georgia Frost and Richard Energy posed outside JK Rowling’s residence with pro-trans signs and ended up revealing her address through photos shared on social media.

In light of the latest incident, JK Rowling claimed activists blasted her to leave her “intimidated” and scared for standing up for “gender-based women’s rights.”

The 56-year-old mentioned the names of several women who allegedly contacted him to share similar experiences:

JK Rowling also wrote that these women were said to have faced similar ‘bullying campaigns’ and ‘social media harassment’ for refusing to accept the ‘socio-political concept of gender’:

“[The women] have been the subject of intimidation campaigns that range from harassment on social media, to targeting their employers, to doxing and direct threats of violence… None of these women are protected like I am. They and their families have been put in a state of fear and distress for the sole reason that they refuse to accept uncritically that the socio-political concept of gender identity should replace that of sex.

The world-famous writer also claimed that she received constant death threats over her opinion on trans women, but continued to maintain her position on controversial views:

“I have now received so many death threats that I could line the house with them, and I haven’t stopped talking. Perhaps – and I’m only saying this – the best way to prove that your movement is not a threat to women, is to stop harassing us, harassing us and threatening us.

Following the incident, the UK Prime Minister’s Office in Downing Street also addressed the situation. Speaking to The Independent, the office said:

In response to the accusations, Holly Stars shared on social media that the trio decided to remove the image for receiving “threatening and transphobic messages” in the wake of the incident:
