Fredonia to host youth basketball camps | News, Sports, Jobs

The Fredonia basketball program will be hosting three youth camps over the next couple of months.

The first camp will be for girls entering grades 3-12 next school year.

The camp will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm Monday, June 27 through Wednesday, June 29.

The cost for the camp is $85 or $75 if paid by June 1.

The second camp will be for boys entering grades 3-12 next school year.

This camp will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm Thursday, June 30 through Saturday, July 2 and cost the same ($85 or $75 if paid by June 1).

The final camp will be the ninth annual Gym Rats Basketball Camp for boys and girls entering grades 4-9.

This camp will be held daily from 9:30 am to noon Tuesday, July 5 through Saturday, July 9.

Campers will participate in lead-up games, relay races and a lot of passing, dribbling ball handling and shooting. All campers receive a T-shirt, daily snack and youth-sized basketball.

The cost is $75 or $125 for two family members.
