Fashion Fair one of the first prestige Beauty a brand made for black women will relaunch this fall, and will be on sale at Sephora, WWD has learned.
Fashion Fair launched in the 70s and was one of the first brands to specifically cater to black women in the department store channel in the US and globally. The brand retains a cult following, but in recent years, has canceled operations.

Now, under majority ownership of Desire Rogers and Cheryl Mayberry McKissack, the brand is back again, and will launch at Sephora in September.
Rogers and McKissack, both executives at Johnson Publishing, the original owners of Fashion Fair, too Own Black Opal, which was recently launched with Ulta Beauty.
Fashion Fair has been reimagined as “modern, innovative” grooming” for darker skin tones, according to Rogers and McKissack. It will launch with Sephora in September.
