Sea Dogs beat Rumble Ponies in comeback mode

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — A grand slam at the top of the ninth inning helped the Portland Sea Dogs beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Saturday night.

Rumble Ponies – 5 (35-46), Seals – 9 (49-32)

Nick Meyer helped the Rumble Ponies equalize in the eighth inning. Binghamton led 5-2 at the end of the frame.

The Sea Dogs leveled again in ninth with two goals from Devlin Grandberg. Hudson Potts closed the game for Portland with a grand slam.

Oscar De La Cruz made six innings with four strikeouts, two runs with seven hits and allowed one walk.
