The All Rise collection propels lifestyle gaming company Queens Gaming Collective into the fashion industry.
Designed by acclaimed streetwear designer Lanie Alabanza-Barcena, aka Miss Lawn, this collection includes a range of casual wear that combines ’90s aesthetics with the comfort gamers need. The capsule will feature branded hoodies, crewneck and graphic tees, among other versatile items.
This female-owned gaming company is releasing the collection as an exclusive summer 2021 capsule that prioritizes the needs of female gamers. As a keen gamer, Miss Lawn knows what collection to include in order to optimize the women’s gaming experience. Influential designers have collaborated with iconic brands such as Nike, Stssy, and Savage X Fenty, making them big players in the streetwear market.
“It is a great honor for me to join the Queens Gaming Collective to work on a project that is entirely female-led, especially for a male-dominated industry such as gaming,” Albanza-Barcena said in a statement. It was important to me to design a collection that was inclusive and gave a distinctive look and vibe to women’s games. The cut is versatile, comfortable and inclusive – where every woman can dress it up or down, and customize the style to make it her own.
With a collection that brought the company into the vast world of clothing, she wanted to continue to change the view that the gaming industry was dominated by men. According to the company, women make up 48 percent of gamers and are often under-represented in the community. The aim of the brand is to bring inclusivity and gender equality to the table, which is expected to be done through a variety of services provided to women, including brand partnerships, merchandising and IP development.
The All Rise collection is a way to continue the mission of diversifying the gaming world, by providing comfortable clothing that promotes freedom of expression among up-and-coming female gamers in the industry.
The All Rise collection is designed to encourage women at every level of gameplay to represent themselves as extraordinary Queens in gaming and streaming, said Alisa Jacobs, co-founder and CEO of the collective.
