Saks Fifth Avenue owners partner with WeWork in co-working spaces
The owner of Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay Co. partnered with WeWork to turn part of its former store into a co-working space, reports Konrad Putzier for Wall Street Journal. “The new company, dubbed SaksWorks, asked WeWork to run and manage co-working spaces in buildings owned by Hudson Bay,” Putzier wrote. “Hudson’s Bay is hoping to profit from the advent of remote work, which most polls show many Americans want to continue to do at least part-time.” {Wall Street Journal}
