To say that I am a fan of the Spice Girls is the biggest understatement of the century. I collected all the lollipops and gummies twice (if you know, you really do); watch world of spices in theaters five, count them, five time; have more merchandise than necessary; and the first—yes, first—in line for their debut US tour, I have very not ashamed to admit all this. In fact, I’m proud of it. I was introduced to so much from being a huge fan: the leopard print joy from Scary, AC Milan from Sporty, and the incredible world of Gucci from Posh (again, if you know, you know).

Now, decades later, I’m also not ashamed to admit that Posh’s son, Brooklyn Beckham, influenced my fit. After all, she boasts a serious fashion pedigree. On Instagram, 22 years old (*crack back*) has posted a series video of him in the kitchen, most of the time wears shirts by Richer Poorer. From steak quesadillas to creamy tomato paste to French toast, Brooklyn whisk, sautés and, catch this, add herbs and spices onto his plate—while keeping the top clean. Hello, king.
Obviously, her devotion to cooking is equally matched by her love for the California-based clothing brand. Further down his Insta feed, the man wore a Richer Poorer t-shirt while kissing his wife, posed with his wife, and sported bunny ears with his wife. And really, what is not love? The cotton shirts come in casual sizes and are available in six colours. They are the perfect base layer for doing anything and everything. They are, wait a minute, luxury meets sporty. More importantly, at $46, they won’t break the bank. He wasn’t the only one rocking them either. Joe Jonas, Timothée Chalamet and (for us older men) Hugh Jackman are all fans too.
So if you want to cook, pose with bunny ears, or, if you’re like me, watch world of spices for the umpteenth time, Posh’s son and a man named David represent the perfect shirt to do all that. Now you know.
