Talk about thirst traps.
Bella Hadid poses for Instagram photo series on Sunday, wearing see-through clothes minidress looks wet ($2,840) from In Petsa.
While the model’s sexy outfit looks drenched, it’s actually made using designer Dimitra Petsa’s signature draping and stitching technique, which makes the dry recycled net look drenched.
Our goal in fashion is to make people not shy about getting wet, Petsa told Page Six Style of her work, which was inspired by “the way we treat our bodily fluids.”
“If we cry in public, we have to hide it. If we breastfeed in public, we have to hide it. It is this censorship and shame that we aim to remove stigma through our designs,” he shares. “I wanted to create a vision of a woman empowered by her wetness.”

Hadid, who paired Petsa’s signature design with Yeezy Foam Runners and gold jewelry, was far from the only fan of the famous designer; her sister Gigi wore a similar dress for her maternity photo shoot last September.
Other celebrities who have put on their own “wet look” that took anywhere from three to eight weeks to create in the Petsa studio include Megan Fox, FKA Twigs and Kylie Jenner.
Each dress is individually crafted for each client and for their body shape, which means no two ‘wet looks’ can look or feel the same as Greek designers and performance artists tell us about stretchy and soft leather garments.
“The process for designing is very intimate and personal… we put a lot of emotion and dedication into every piece and creative process.”
The seemingly saturated style was born out of Petsa’s eco-feminist research at London’s elite fashion school Central Saint Martins, where she explored the link between ocean pollution and societal pressure to pollute and clean our bodies, especially our wetness.
“By wearing the ‘wet look’ in public, you let go of shame and embrace our ‘wet selves’ and wet emotions, taking nature as our own,” she shares.
