Whataburger upgrades its fashion line with new outdoor wear from the Academy

KATY, Texas — In an ongoing saga where popular American restaurant brands serve up the best in clothes, one fast food restaurant – Texas’s official treasure – has captivated another Lone Star State business with its fashionable outfits.

San Antonio-based Whataburger has teamed up with Academy Sports + Outdoors, headquartered in Katy, to launch a new co-branded clothing line that they say is “worthy of a Texas-sized summer celebration.”

The new clothing line includes breathable short-sleeved woven fishing shirts, long-sleeved lightweight performance crew shirts, boat shorts, and hats, with the Academy noting that, like other apparel in the Magellan Outdoors brand, each item is made with outdoor enthusiasts in mind. – and maybe a french fries fanatic, considering some of the items in line include an image of the iconic Whataburger tater stick or offering a perfectly sized pouch to carry some fries to take away.
