in accordance Forbes, a collaboration of crypto platforms and digital fashion startups gave birth to the DRESSX NFT store, which is in the NFT section of Crypto.com.

Not to mention that it will house many of the limited edition fashion collections on the market.

In hindsight, NFT has become the latest online craze, with Marvel games, art and collectibles released left and right. Hype even allowed play-to-earn NFT games, such as “Axie Infinity,” to appear.

This time, even the digital fashion world, through the start-up, Dress X, got their share of the NFT.

NFT Digital Mode

All items are available to wear virtually via augmented reality or AR in the DressX app. Meanwhile, it can be picked up exclusively on Crypto.com’s NFT section.

DressX Co-Founder, Natalia Modenova, said that fashion NFTs opened up new options for distributing AR fashion beyond Snapchat glasses.

The DressX boss further said that: “Now with this partnership, we are introducing a model where valuable content, and secured only for the NFT owner, increases the value of the digital asset itself.”

DressX NFT First Drop: SpaceX Themed Outfits

According to WWD, the first DressX drop will release at least three virtual outfits from Elon Musk’s space innovation company, SpaceX.

It should be noted that the SpaceX collection will only be available for a limited time, and will be released on August 29th. In addition, the price of digital fashion based on Musk’s company starts from one Ethereum.

DressX and Farfetch

In addition, Farfetch also launched a new pre-order platform. Thus, DressX digitized a total of 40 items–half of which was menswear, while the other half was womenswear.

The digitization includes several brands available on Farfetch, namely Dolce & Gabbana, Off-White, Balenciaga, Palm Angels, Nanushka, and Khaite.

What’s more, Modenova notes that they went even harder by producing an editorial shoot that showcased digital fashion pieces. Thus, pre-order shooting does not involve unnecessary delivery, as well as physical copies of the outfit.

To be clear, Farfetch is meant to be DressX’s digital wholesale partner. On the other hand, Crypto.com focuses on the NFT store of digital fashion startups.

Crypto.com’s NFT marketplace feature has traded in many digital collectibles from high-profile clients, such as Aston Martine Formula One and Snoop Dogg – to name a few.

The NFT marketplace partnered with DressX debuted a new digital trend that emerged last March.
