Fashion on the field — Check out the best college football uniforms for Week 2

[ad_1]

Week 2 of the college football season is ahead of us and several teams have made a statement before hitting the pitch.

The Oregon Ducks are tried and true when it comes to uniform announcements, and this week was no different. New combinations are revealed ahead of their fight against Ohio State. While Brutus and Duck are likely to attract attention between each other, it will be hard to take your eyes off this jersey.

The solid off-white look is a bold fashion statement. Maybe wearing white after Labor Day isn’t so bad.

Miami will also rock the solid color strip with their green-and-green uniforms, but let’s be honest, the Spinning Chain is the real star of the show.

Jordan Miller is wearing Hurricanes main accessory last week, and perhaps there will be another chance to see the chain decorated against the Appalachian States. Miller was actually the second Miami player to use chains when Kamren Kinchens appeared to recover a mistake early in the game, but upon review, it was decided that the Alabama Crimson Tide running back Roydell Williams recovered his own error.

After debuting a new combo in its home opener, Boise State will follow it up with an icy combination. The Broncos will wear a blue shirt with white pants against UTEP.

The first of a military academy rivalry took off this week with the Navy hosting the Air Force. Both squads took their gear seriously and released hype videos to show off their uniforms for the week.

Another solid color line is in the mix for Utah’s all-red affair. Meanwhile, BYU will try to cool Utes with their blue-and-white ensemble.

Tennessee volunteers continued this week’s unofficial monochromatic theme with their orange uniforms.
