The City of Sheboygan has announced that Ross Dress for Less will be the second tenant in the former Shopko redevelopment project.
Ross Dress for Less is a bargain shop for clothing, shoes, home decor and more. Hobby Lobby announced in October that they were moving to the south side of the building; Ross will take up approximately 25,200 Sq Ft to the north, leaving nearly 12,000 Sq Ft still available for development.
Land use agreement approval is still being finalized before interior renovations are scheduled for this winter. The tentative agreement has the City of Sheboygan provide the city with a $325,000 incentive and a $375,000 business development loan agreement to bridge the gap in projected operating costs for the two retailers nationwide. The developer, Corta Sheboygan, LLC, plans to invest at least $4.6 million in the Shopko project and another $1.2 million in land development south of Applebees.
