Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster continue to show off their fashion credentials in their Rolls Royce

They are no strangers to making glamorous events as a couple.

And Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster flaunted their fashion identities on Tuesday night in the back of the famous singer’s Rolls Royce.

The 76-year-old Sailing hitmaker wore a sleek black fur coat, while his model wife, 50, looked stunning in a shimmering black-and-gold mini dress.

The drive home in a luxury vehicle ends a busy day for a couple who have been married for 14 years.

The pair not only appeared on BBC’s The One Show, TV personality Penny also showed her support for Children In Need, taking part in Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Kitchen Disco Danceathon.

Through her Instagram story on Tuesday night, Penny shared a candid photo of herself on the dance floor, writing: ‘So excited to join Sophie at her kitchen dance today. Keep on dancing, you will destroy it!!’

Earlier in the evening, Rod and Penny cut the stylized figures as they arrived on the set of The One Show.

The couple held hands as they walked into the studio where they met fellow guest Rosamund Pike.

Rod took a fashion step forward as he donned an all-grey suit, opting for a floral coat over a gray turtleneck and pairing it with matching gray trousers and shoes.

Walking beside Rod, Penny stood out in a camel coat paired with green leather pants that showed off her long legs.

She let her gold keys fall over her shoulders and carried a pale pink Gucci bag and a shopping bag from Apple.

On set, the singer posed for a photo with Rosamund, who looked stunning in an all-white outfit.

Rod appeared on the BBC One show to discuss his recently released 31st studio album The Tears Of Hercules.

The music icon said his latest album was born out of lockdown, noting that it was ‘the best album he’s made in a long time.’

He also revealed that one of the songs on his new album, Touchline, is dedicated to his father, who he said taught him and his brothers to love football.

Via her Instagram account she said: ‘Ladies & Gentlemen, I bring you The Tears of Hercules.

‘This has been an amazing time to make this record and I’m so glad we finally got it out!’

The singer also revealed that two of the songs on the album – I Can’t Imagine and Precious Memories – are about his wife Penny, whom he has been happily married to since 2006.

Rod and Penny share sons Alastair, 15, and Aiden, 10 and Rod has six other children from a previous relationship.

He shares daughter Renee and son Liam with his second wife Rachel Hunter and children Kimberly and Sean with first wife Alana.

Rod also has a daughter named Sarah from his relationship with Susannah Boffey in the sixties and shares Ruby with ex-Kelly Emberg, whom he dated from 1983-1990.
