For a night of fun, which was so special to the star as she later explained to her Instagram followers, Christie opted for a stunning black mini dress with pleated sleeves and matching thigh-high boots.

To complete her look, the mother of three styled her blonde hair straight and opted for natural makeup.

Sharing several photos of herself posing stormy next to the stage door, Christie told her fans: “I had to stop at the stage door on my way to the 25th Anniversary of the biggest musical @chicagomusical because every day I open that door when I have the honor of playing Roxie Hart , I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

“I felt like it was the door to a dream come true, the door through which I would leave the trials and tribulations of my life, I actually navigated my own trials, (divorce) and serious health challenges my parents faced with heroic grace. …and Chicago gave us all a new focus and escape. Doing Chicago was a challenge and a challenge that I accepted with their encouragement, and I just wanted to make them proud.”

He continued: “I will never forget the faces of those who stared at me on that stage! Last night at the magical 25th Anniversary Show and the honor that came with it, I felt so proud and honored to be able to show the amazing cast members that Producer brilliant Fran and Barry Weissler come together for this Broadway milestone.”
