The Patriots post-match press conference is a revolving door for players waiting their turn to speak to the media. Often, players will be waiting on the deck when their teammates are done, and when the mood is high like after the win over Jaguar, it can make for some hilarious moments.
That’s what happened at the end of Matthew Judon’s press conference when Mac Jones entered the room early for his own media availability.
Judon wears a stylish reversible coat with a custom gold necklace displaying his signature celebration. When Nick O’Malley of Masslive asked him when he would help his quarterback improve his fashion sense, Judon looked to his right where Jones was sitting and burst out laughing.
“It’s a waste,” said Judon. “I’d keep him 100. Mac is a football player and that’s it. He’s a great guy, a football player, but drip? That’s not him, man.”
Jones can be heard laughing off-camera, responding calmly to the hilarious comment.
“Let him do what he does, man,” said Judon. “Don’t change the person. Let him do what he does. I’m just glad he’s our quarterback. He’s out there playing ball, having an amazing season. I’m just glad he’s out there playing with us.”
