Street Style Look FW22 Milan Men’s Fashion Week

[ad_1]

Milan Men’s Autumn/Winter 2022 Fashion Week recently concluded earlier this week and includes big names like 1017 ALYX 9SM, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, and Prada making their appearance on physical runways. With the pandemic still ongoing, some brands have chosen not to show them live in Milan and have opted to show their collections online. JW Anderson and Giorgio Armani were among those deciding on digital events.

While fashion week is not back to normal yet, those who were able to attend live shows were able to bring some energy and welcome the first European fashion week of the new year. The city of Milan received a boost in drama as showgoers dazzle the streets in eclectic patterns and bold colours. Since January is notoriously chilly for men’s fashion week, this season’s street style is inspired by comfort-focused pieces in casual silhouettes. In the past, showgoers opted for loose-fitting coats, but this week, many onlookers opted for boxier cuts for their outerwear.

Milan presents dynamic coordinated layering with a combination of a monochromatic sweater and coat in bold orange and functional matches in a variety of bright blues. Mismatched patterns including a plaid cardigan paired with paisley silk pants work harmoniously to make a statement on the streets of Milan. Of course, since it was Milan Fashion Week, showgoers loved some of Italy’s biggest luxury brands. The Prada bolo tie is made for an eye-catching yet subtle accessory for comfort-focused ensembles. Tailor-fitting outerwear paired with baggy and oversized pants that comment on the contemporary ideals of today’s casual yet structured silhouette.
