Moser is an independent brand that also specializes in exclusive, small quantities of handcrafted and flawlessly crafted watches. Classic style with visionary and dramatic edges best defines the style of both and blends beautifully in the limited edition Endeavor Small Seconds Total Eclipse $25,900.

The watch, made in two models – one in all stainless steel and the other in stainless steel and rose gold – boasts a Vantablack® dial which is the deepest black that can be found on the dial thanks to the way the material absorbs 99.96 percent of light. . This is dramatically highlighted by the bright inner bezel that acts as a halo around the dial – much like the solar corona during a total solar eclipse – hence the name. This watch is the result of a partnership that began in 2019 and subsequent collaborations.

According to Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie, in a personal interview, this is the brand’s first fashion engagement “We have collaborated with artists, customers, retailers, clubs and watch brands in the past but never in the world. mode. That’s the idea of ​​collaboration, exploring new territory and a source of inspiration. The Armory allowed us to create something we would never have done by taking inspiration from their universe. The 38mm watch is powered by a hand-wound HMC 327 caliber that offers tiny seconds at 6:00 and recalls the elegance of the pocket watch era. According to Mark Cho, co-founder of The Armory, “When Edouard and I first started talking about the idea of ​​making watches together, my main requirement was [to be] small. I like watches that are unobtrusive but reveal a deeper complexity if you pay attention to them. For me, dial fumé and Vantablack® H. Moser & Cie. are icons and I wanted to work with one of them as a starting point for the design. I quickly started liking Vantablack® and I had the idea of ​​adding a marking to the dial.
