Nike, adidas, Fila, Asics bring summer fashion to Melbourne

The designer of the tennis collection aimed at Melbourne has always been inspired by Australia’s sun, beaches and nature. This year is no different, as we will have lots of bright and pastel reds, oranges, pinks and purples that resonate perfectly with the energy of the first Grand Slam event of the season. Nike Melbourne Collection is all about asymmetry. Shapes, accents, folds, mesh inserts – nothing is symmetrical.

Aryna Sabalenka and Elina Svitolina created this entertaining TikTok transition video to showcase everything the new Nike collection has to offer, including Nike Spring Field Dresses, Nike Spring Court Tank and nike spring field skirtT.

Adidas was inspired by the Great Barrier Reef color. The striking red of coral combines with the blue of the sky to bring the beauty of nature’s treasures to the tennis courts of Melbourne Park. For those who prefer a more muted tone, the new collection also offers garments in opaque prints in brown and beige.

Players will mix and match adidas Melbourne Y-Tank, featuring a soft Y-elastic strap and a minimum of 40% recycled material, the adidas Melbourne Match Tank, sleeveless design that provides more coverage, and adidas Melbourne Match Skirt which complements the top perfectly.

In an effort to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans and provide eco-friendly solutions, adidas tennis apparel has once again included Parley Ocean Plastic, while maintaining the high performance qualities that professional athletes expect. As you know, the company’s mission is to completely eliminate the use of virgin polyester by 2024.

Fila presented two collections at the 2022 Australian Open. One in a navy blue and white geometric print and the other one that brings a pop of color to the court with eye-catching coral and fuchsia tones.

World No.1 Ashley Barty will launch the Foul Line collection, which combines classic Fila navy with pure white in a unique print called Fiji. This promotional photo shows Australians in Fila Offense Line Raceback Tank, featuring a self-woven bra, mesh inserts, and princess stitching on the back. The photo also shows 13.5” Fila Foul Line Skirt, which includes a contrasting white belt and ball shorts.

Barty’s shoe of choice is this Axilus 2 Energized fiery red women’s tennis shoes with navy and white accents.

Fila’s Shelby Rogers will feature an attractive yet inviting palette of hot coral, fuschia and white from the Baseline collection. This range offers a variety of tops and skorts that can be combined to create different looks.

The essence of this collection is Basic Dress, unique because of its deep V-shaped back. For the photo shoot, Rogers chose to present Fila’s Basic Racerback Tank, featuring a slimming contrast side panel, and in white Basic 14”Short.

Tennis shoes that will complete Rogers’ appearance are the hot coral / fuchsia / white version Axilus 2 Energized.

The Asics Australian Open kit delivers classic sporty style in a soft watercolor print. The palette is purple, light blue and neon yellow. New Asics tennis shoes and accessories come in matching colors.

Just like adidas, Asics emphasizes sustainability. They are very proud because this latest collection is 100 percent made from recycled materials.

Swiatek Ribs and Caroline Garcia Expect to wear a colorful V-neck tank featuring rounded side slits and a classic white Skort, or a printed alternative. On her Instagram, Garcia also showed off a gorgeous light blue pleated dress with light purple contrast and a matching zipper jacket for warming up.
