COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 1 Ohio State men’s tennis team is undefeated with a 7-0 record following their pair of 4-0 sweeps of No. 1 Tennessee and No. 6 Virginia this past weekend. Another big weekend is in store as the Buckeyes will host consecutive pairs of Top 10 opponents beginning with No. 10 Kentucky on Friday. That match begins at 6 pm On Sunday, the Buckeyes will host No. 6 Wake Forest at Noon.
- This will be the 35th match between Ohio State and Kentucky with the first matchup dating back to the 1933 season.
- Ohio State is 22-12 all time vs. Kentucky with their most recent matchup being a 4-0 victory in February 2019.
- Ohio State has had the upper hand as of late and are 18-1 against Kentucky since 2000; the most recent loss occurred in the 2014 season.
