A FASHION expert has revealed her simple hack to remove scuffs from your shoes – and it will only set you back 1.30.
Mbaire Wangui26, is a Scotland-based Kenyan fashion blogger who regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfits of the day with her followers.

The mid-sized fashionista, from Perth, says she’s a “sucker for heels” and has a top tip to keep them looking good as new.
Sharing the hack on Instagram – @mbairewangui – she said: “How to remove scuffs from patent leather heels!
“Im such a sucker for heels and hold them dear to my heart, so Id do anything to protect them.
“Hope this helps someone out there.”


In a short clip, Mbaire reveals the only three items you need to ger rid of the scuffs are sanitiser, cue tips/earbuds and a cotton pad.
After just a few rubs over the offending marks, the heels are back to their best.
Since the pandemic, most households will have hand sanitiser at their disposal – but if not, the exact Carex Aloe Vera one used by Mbaire will only set you back 1.30.
The shoe hack comes after Mbaire revealed the four easy ways to elevate a simple shirt and jeans combo into a chic outfit.
And the 26-year-old said you don’t have to break the bank to achieve a chic look.
She regularly mixes budget buys fromPrimark with high-end high street items from the likes of Karen Millen andMarks and Spencer for her stylish and classic outfits.
She said: “I have an eclectic style. I’m not very brand-fixated. If I see something I like, I’ll buy it and wear it.


“But I don’t have the money for designer items such as Chanel and Dior.
“I’m realistic about my budget so aim more for high-end high street brands.”
