Her nude gown featured spaghetti straps, sequins embellishments and plenty of feathers at the hemline. A dark red lip and sleek updo upped the drama in a perfect way.

Laura Dern arrived at the premiere of her film “The Son” during the Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 7 in this stunning Armani Prive gown plucked right from the runway. The strapless design included crystal embellishments over a navy mesh for an ethereal vibe, but things went awry when she added a cropped sequined jacket. It’s a rare moment when Penelope Cruz sports a designer other than the French fashion house, so it was a treat to see her arrive at the Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 6 in this vintage Dolce & Gabbana number. The dreamy white frock from 2011 included thin straps and tiered lace down to the ruffled hemline. Despite breaking the age-old rule that says you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day, we adored this departure from her usual Chanel looks.

We wanted to like the Valentino look she wore to the premiere of her film “Don’t Worry Darling” at the Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 5, but aside from the gorgeous constellation pattern, there wasn’t much to love. From the voluminous sleeves to the skirt that opened at the waist, we couldn’t get behind the bizarre cut. But one element we did adore? The shoes

The young star selected the standout choice for the premiere of “The Whale” on Sept. 4 a strapless confection that started with intricate embellishments before flowing into a pale blue layered tulle skirt. This one deserves to be seen from another angle

“Tell Me Lies” star Grace Van Patten attended the screening of her new series in Los Angeles on Sept. 8 in this LBD with a twist. The collar of her black minidress was a sparkly white addition that included another fun detail you can see upon closer inspection
