When dealing with his explosive rise to fame, Klein revealed that he gets “very anxious” when he sees people “staring or taking pictures.”

He had acting aspirations as a child watching movies in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

“I just remember watching those movies,” he recalls, “and then going and reading the plays, and thinking how nice it would be to be in the actor’s shoes, in that place of empathy.”

“And I remember thinking if I sat here in this theater, watching this, feeling this emotion, I can’t imagine how great it would be to be in that place, where you can step into other people’s lives and play.”

“I realized there were thousands of me,” Klein said showing off. “And it’s very scary.”

But the star’s big break came in 2020 with his starring role in the Netflix teen drama series Outer Banks, which he likened to “ripping your chest out and putting your heart on a platform watched by millions.”
