The holiday season is in full swing, (hopefully) giving you some much-needed downtime. Enjoy the rest while you can, as New Year’s Eve will soon be replaced by another whirlwind Fashion Month, which begins on January 13th.
The first is the men’s show Fall/Winter 2023, which will kick off in Milan with none other than Gucci, an affair which may see the house announce Alessandro Michele’s successor. Fashion FellowsFendi and Prada will take part on January 14 and 15 respectively.
Moving northwest, Wales Bonner is rumored to be heading up Louis Vuitton’s men’s division which will open Paris Fashion Week on Jan. 17, followed by Saint Laurent later that day. Louis Vuitton, which has yet to announce a new menswear creative director, will appear on the 19th and Dior on the 20th. As usual, Maison Margiela will close the week on January 22nd.
This season will also see some scheduling shakeups. Botter, whose condom gloves went viral at Paris Fashion Week, has switched from the women’s fashion calendar to the men’s and will be shown on January 20. Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Ann Demeulemeester’s new creative director, has also switched to the men’s calendar, taking place on January 22nd.
While 032c has been a Fashion Week staple for years, the Berlin-based fashion magazine and clothing brand will be joining PFW’s official schedule for season FW23. Look out for their presentation on January 20th.
Other shows we’re looking forward to: Y/Project on January 18th, Dries Van Noten on the 19th, and Loewe and Herms on the 21st.
In the meantime, get the rest you need to survive Fashion Month FW23.
