Harry claims William and Kate made him dress up in a Nazi costume

Prince Harry, who was 20 at the time, caused outrage when he was pictured wearing a soldier’s uniform complete with swastika armband for a costume ball.

But in her highly anticipated autobiography, Spare, she reportedly blamed her older brother and sister-in-law for coming up with the idea, adding they burst out laughing when she saw her wear it.

In a segment of the book obtained by Page Six, Harry reportedly wrote about choosing an outfit, saying it was a toss-up between a pilot’s uniform or a Nazi uniform.

I called Willy and Kate and asked what they thought. Nazi uniforms, they say, Harry said in his memoirs Page Six.

Duke reportedly explained about going home and trying on the outfit for them.

They both howled, he reportedly added. Worse than a Willys leotard! Much more ridiculous! Which, again, is the point.

The Duke of Sussex recently tackled the embarrassing incident during episode three of Harry & Meghan, a six-part docuseries that premiered on Netflix last month.

He later described it as one of the biggest mistakes of my life, adding: I felt so ashamed afterwards. All I want to do is fix it.

In another leaked excerpt seen by The Guardian, the Duke of Sussex reportedly claims Prince William once physically assaulted him over the younger prince’s marriage to Meghan.

Prince Harry alleges the confrontation took place at his London home in 2019 and has left him with visible wounds down his back after the Prince of Wales grabbed his brother by the collar and tore his necklace before dropping him to the floor.

Harry further claimed that William had made the American actress a difficult, harsh and crude comment which the younger brother said mimicked the press narrative about his wife.

According to The Guardian newspaper, the incredible sight is one of many at Spare.

The newspaper said it was able to obtain a copy of the book despite the tight pre-launch security surrounding the book.

Spare is described by its publishers as a book written with pure and unwavering honesty and an important publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination.

Those who have read it have suggested the possibility of souring relations with his brother and sister-in-law.

Generally, I think books [will be] worse for them than the Royal family expected, one source told The Sunday Times. Everything is left blank. Charles came out better than I expected, but it was tough on William in particular, and even Kate got a bit of a handball.

The source added: There’s this little detail, and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William can reconcile after this.

Buckingam Palace and Kensington Palace have been approached for comment.
