Anya Taylor-Joy wears a sheer nude Dior dress for the 2023 Critics Choice Awards

Taylor-Joy posed solo on the red carpet as well as with partner Malcolm McRae, who also attended the Golden Globes with her. Taylor-Joy will be presenting during tonight’s show.

Taylor-Joy spoke US Today in November a little bit about his time off with McRae and his entertaining film. Almost famous it’s like I feel better about the film world, he said. I felt really, really bad for my partner, he had never seen it and we were wearing it, and I couldn’t help it. I stand next to the television and show the whole film. I know that too well. He got to watch it alone without me the next day so it was a really fun experience.

He also touched on his character Margot from Menu‘s style and how he may have put too much of himself into it. I based Margot’s entire appearance in the film off of what I used to wear when I was 18: the color of the nails, the fact that everything peeled off, the color of the lipstick, everything, she says. So I went to dinner with a friend of mine the other night and he was like, Why are you dressed like your character from Menu? It’s like, Oh my God, I gave him my identity! What do I do now! Incidentally, I think sometimes I give myself too much character, and then it can look like a cosplay.
