Kate, 41, visited Foxcubs Nursery in Luton on Wednesday afternoon wearing one of the most hardworking style combinations in her arsenal: coordinated split knits under a classic winter coat. She has hit this formula many times for public appearances lately, proving that once you understand a style that works for you, go with it.
The color combinations may change, but the basic formula remains: a knit style, often a turtle-neck style, a long-sleeved top, with a slightly flared A-line midi length skirt, in the same color and knit.
The occasional look is a knitted all-in-one dress combined with a leather belt at the waist, combined with knee-high boots and combined with a long, classic coat.
