ISEM Fashion Business School with its campus in Madrid, Spain, has signed a partnership agreement with Spanish fashion multinational All We Wear Group (AWWG), the parent company of London’s Pepe Jeans, Hackett and Faonnable.

Such collaborations include initiatives such as driving opportunities for students in corporate brands and financing academic training through scholarships.

In doing so, AWWG joins a number of Spanish multinational companies associated with the world of fashion, including Inditex, El Corte Ingls, Tendam, Multipticas, and Saga Furs, which have decided to support ISEM’s activities financially.

As part of its collaboration with ISEM Fashion Business School, AWWG established the new university chairperson, a tool used by academic institutions to bring the professional world closer together and make it available to all of its students.

The position will enable the various groups participating in its chair program to participate in the school’s operations in different ways, through their active support of research projects promoted by the business school itself.

In addition, Spanish multinational companies will actively support awarding scholarships to students, promoting the incorporation of leading professionals in the teaching staff, carrying out mentoring actions, and collaborating with the professional opportunities department.

Other support includes facilitating job market entry and student employability, financing academic institutions, collaborating with organizing visits to AWWG production centers and/or sponsoring ISEM prizes and projects.

The agreement between the two parties was formalized by Marcella Wartenbergh, executive director of AWWG, and Teresa Sdaba, dean of ISEM Fashion Business School.

“At AWWG we are committed to the development of the fashion industry”, Marcella Wartenbergh, Group Executive Director of AWWG, said of the collaboration in a release shared by ISEM Fashion Business School following the formalization of the collaboration.

“Our experience of more than 30 years working with well-known brands allows us to share our knowledge with future professionals to enhance their leadership and negotiation skills and thereby grow successfully in the fashion sector,” he continued.

In this regard, he added, “through this agreement”, from which “we formalize our long and solid relationship with ISEM”.

“A special aspect of the training we provide at ISEM is the focus on fashion from a business and enterprise point of view,” added ISEM’s dean Sdaba.

“Relations with industry are very important to our work,” he continued.

Good functioning of the school and high employability of students are important “for the most part”, with the school having a current employability rate of 98 percent.

This is possible thanks to deals like this one with AWWG.”
