My glamorous dress with gloves makes me look like Slenderman

A young woman has gone viral after posting a hilarious reaction to a dress she ordered online.

Ellie Baxter, 21, posted a video online of herself in a dress she bought for a friend’s birthday calling herself “Slenderman.”

The dental nurse, from Newcastle, ordered a £50 black midi dress with blue fur trim and black gloves to match, from trending online footwear brand EGO.

However, the gloves were too big for Ellie and the fur had fallen off her dress.

The 21-year-old said: ‘I saw the dress and liked it because it was something a little different with the gloves so I ordered it. I wanted something I wouldn’t normally wear.’

Ellie was so excited when the dress arrived the next day that she didn’t even see it and tried it on right away.

However, he explained: ‘There was feathers all over the floor and it looked like I had skinned canaries everywhere.

‘When I saw the length of his fingers I couldn’t believe it. It makes me look like Slenderman.’

Ellie said that when she took the dress apart the feathers came off the dress, plus it was a completely different color to the pictures online.

Ellie continued: ‘No way to make it work, looks like I’ve been conned. It’s also a completely different color.

“I also have acrylic nails which will make my fingers longer and give me length, but they don’t help.” That’s ridiculous.’

The dental nurse posted a video online of herself trying on a dress in which she quickly went viral with people commenting that she looked like Cruella De Vil and Slenderman.

Ellie has since returned the dress and said it was the last time she would order something outside her comfort zone.

She said: ‘I post videos online and a lot of people comment saying I look like Cruella De Vil, Kim and Aggie, salad finger and Slenderman. Safe to say I sent it back and ordered elsewhere.

‘My thumb is the length of an A19.

‘I have small hands, I wear extra small gloves at work.

‘I will stick to what I know and definitely stay away from gloves. This is the last time I order something out of my comfort zone.’
