Between his work at Under the Banner of Heaven and starring Where Crawdads Sing, Aster Flower Edgar-Jones established himself as a household name in Hollywood last year. But she seems to be adding a new role to her growing list of accomplishments – fashionista.
During the Vanity Fair Oscars 2023 afterparty, the normal people the actress surprised the audience when she wore an unexpected outfit. She graced the blue carpet wearing a Gucci dress that made her appear to be walking around naked. The 24-year-old woman achieved the effect thanks to a sleeveless beige bodysuit featuring a sheer black mesh overlay with horizontal lines of crystals throughout the material. The unique design also flaunts a distinct high neckline, which replaces the need for a bejeweled necklace.
With an ensemble so daring to Fresh star, Daisy stays focused on her dress rather than any other look. For the accessories, she opted for minimal accents and makeup for the famous party.
The British native wore heels that matched the color of her bodysuit and added simple jewelery to bring out the total sparkle of the number. She wore her black hair into a chic bun with face-framing bangs, and wore natural makeup to pull it all together.
When he posted his appearance on Instagram hours after the event, fans couldn’t forget seeing Daisy attend a big movie event looking so glam. They commented how much they loved his direction in high couture.
“Given the best look tonight in my humble opinion ✨🤍,” one person said in the comments section. “She is the prettiest thing in 🌍. Period,” another follower agreed. “I thought I had forgotten all the looks last night, and then I saw this 😍,” exclaimed a different user.
If Daisy indicated the extravagant fling wasn’t enough, she also found time to reunite with her ex normal people co-star (and Best Actor nominee) Paul Mescal. Turns out this isn’t the first time the two have been spotted since filming the Hulu drama, as he’s posted about seeing him all the way back in 2022. on Instagram in early January.
