Offstage Evangelion Outfit Rehearsal Video Released

On May 5th, the day before the opening Outer Evangelions, the first stage play inspired by evangelism anime franchise, the Japanese media was invited to her dress rehearsal. As the opening performance THEATER MILANO-Za in Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, Outer Evangelionswhich tells a new original story with new characters, not featuring characters from the original anime, is scheduled to be shown from May 6 to 28, 2023. Tickets for the last day show have sold out.

The story is set in an earth devastated by sea and land pollution due to development and unregulated conflicts, where people live together in settlements called “Dolufu”. Soushi Watamori, a young man born and raised in Eade, one of the Dolufu, uses the Evangelion to dig into the depths of the earth to find new sources of high energy under the command of Masatsugu Sugo, the supreme commander of the Mensch special agency. However, a huge unknown creature named “Ikimono” appears at the bottom of the earth. Watamori intercepts the creature with his Eva and manages to trap it underground, but half a year later, it reappears.

Masataka Kubota (Light Yagami in Death note TV drama series, Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul live action film series) stars as the protagonist Soushi Watamori. Other main cast members included Mizuki Itagaki, Shizuka Ishibashi, I’m testing Tanaka, Takahito Nagata, Akane Sakanoue, Kanna MurataAnd Kyoko Miyashita.
