The fashion message behind Wales’ coordinated look at Big Help Out

[ad_1]

Where Alexander McQueen has created all the other Princess of Wales outfits over Coronation weekend (and a mini-me version for Princess Charlottetoo), today the Princess turns to some casual wear and heritage brands to complement her everyday wardrobe.

Her frill-neck denim blouse was by Really Wild Clothing, a British outdoorwear label founded by Natalie Lake, who has been a Princess favorite since her days at St Andrews University. Back in 2004, when she had just started dating Prince William in public, the Princess modeled for Really Wild at the Blenheim Palace Game Fair. The Princess has worn pieces from the Lakes label on dozens of occasions since then and has turned to Lake to find suitable outfits for activity days on touring overseas.

On Monday the Princess wore a gorgeous creased top with handy G-Star Raw cargo pants and favorite Blundstone boots.
