Welcome back to the Now Runway, where we report to you from the forefront of the digital fashion revolution. We may be the reason Gmoney is referred to as Web3’s Kim Kardashian after the champagne-fueled conversation in Paris where this column was born and we’re not mad about it.
Here’s what you may have missed last week from Ledger’s latest must-have accessories we’ve been coveting to Renault’s latest NFT collection, and a cheeky look into the art-subverting AI fad of the Renaissance.
Ledger x Ambush
Ledgera well-known cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider reveals its latest collaboration with AmbushTokyo-based fashion brand owned by yoon And Oral. The limited edition AMBUSH x Ledger Case, designed for the Ledger STAX, boasts a sleek and striking waterdrop design crafted from steel, making it the perfect statement accessory for minimalistic crypto holders.

in 2022, Fendi collaborated with Ledger in a first-of-its-kind partnership. They combined Fendi’s iconic style with state-of-the-art Ledger security technology to create a limited edition case for their cryptocurrency hardware wallet. Both designs are inspired by Fendis’ iconic Baguette and O’Lock and are crafted from lightweight aluminum, finished in a futuristic, glossy finish.
Bershka x FFFACE
Bershkaglobal fashion retailer, has partnered with Face, home of the popular XR and Web3 products, to introduce its first “semi-digital” clothing line, called Wearable Art. Launched in Lisbon, the collection takes a unique approach to digital interaction, allowing customers to enhance their physical wardrobe using Instagram filters created by Ffface.
In an effort to promote sustainability, a single physical item of clothing may have multiple AR layers that can be updated, eliminating the need to constantly buy new clothing to show off on social media.
Str4ngeThing x Italian fashion
Str4ngeThingAI artists and designers collaborate with Italian fashion to offer his unique interpretation of Sandro Botticelli’s masterpiece, Venus birth. Artist describes his style as “AI art inspired by the Mandela Effect of Fashion and modern items appear in the wrong era.” Utilizing the tools of generative AI art, Str4ngeThing creates conceptual fashion pieces that juxtapose very different periods in history, with an emphasis on sportswear in the Renaissance era.
The Mandela effect refers to a situation in which many people believe that an event is happening when in fact it is not. The artist who reconstructed Venus found it on land that appears to have experienced a drop in sea levels. The once luxurious shell that was the seat of Venus is now a much smaller shell in the foreground accompanied by a skull. Venus is masked in a silver hooded cape and the word Vogue emblazoned across her chest.
Renault
In commemoration of 50 years of Renault 5, Renault launched its second NFT collection, the Racing Shoe5 series. The collection consists of 960 NFTs, each tied to a limited edition physical shoe.

Inspired by the iconic R5 Turbo model, five custom-designed styles pay homage to different flagship R5 Turbo models, while a sixth design honors the R5 Turbo 3E, created in conjunction with the R3NLT web3 community. The physical sneakers will incorporate design elements that differ from those of the R5 Turbo line, such as a rear tilt that mimics a car chassis, an interior lining-inspired lining, and straps that mimic seat belts.
