The masked man stole a $125,000 luxury handbag from a posh New Jersey mall, sending employees cowering in a back room as they grabbed the brand name item straight from the wall, police said Wednesday.
The high-profile robbery occurred just before 11am Monday when four men wearing dark clothing and masks stormed the Dior store at the Mall in Short Hills, about 20 miles outside New York City, according to Millburn police.
The sales associate ran to a back room and called 911, but by the time police arrived, the high-profile raid had ended, police said.

The thieves – who were unarmed – fled in a black SUV with 25 stolen purses worth $125,000, police said.
A videos posted to Instagram shows men hastily stuffing their sleeves with expensive bags.
One of the intruders was even seen leaping to reach a large monogrammed Dior Book tote bag that was perched high on a shelf.

Filled with stolen loot, the criminals are seen running in the shopping mall for their getaway.
One shopper was caught walking by the store entrance and looked surprised to see four men in hoodies and baseball caps running out juggling brand name items that had not been packed.
