Kim Kardashian Cutout Dress in New York City for SKIMS Event

Kim Kardashian is totally cool.

That Kardashian the star and tastemaker, 42, was spotted in New York City Wednesday and simultaneously introduced another daring look to her style roster.

The Kardashian courting look is minimalist in that it revolves around two pieces: a curve-hugging black dress and sheer strappy stiletto sandals in the same color.

However, it was the side cut of the slip which exposed the skin near her chest and on her hips which added a sexy element to her ensemble. The open slit at the number’s waist is also designed with a thin strap, creating the optical illusion of an open thong worn underneath.

She rocked a slick hairstyle in a ponytail with slicked-back bangs separated into wavy pieces. Her dark strands were gelled back to achieve the trendy “wet hair” look she’d worn before.

Kardashian and sister Khlo were in town for Disney’s Upfront, where they were performing The Kardashians and revealed that Hulu had picked up an additional 20 episodes of the reality series.

Earlier in the day, she visited SKIMS brand’s new summer pop store in Rockefeller Center, where she donned a zip-up bodysuit from clothing brand Solutions, Balenciaga faux leather pants with side zippers and hot pink pointy-toe boots.

Kardashian took the opportunity to sit down with Savannah Guthrie for the event Today show (which film is in the same area as her brick and mortar) and opens up about her law school midterms and season 3 of her family’s Hulu series.

Her press day also coincides with Mother’s Day.

The mother of four took to Instagram to share what her celebration was like, posting a photo of the adorable hand-drawn holiday card given to her by her four children, daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5, and sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4 all of which she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, 45.

Of course, Kardashian didn’t forget to shower her own mother and manager Kris Jenner with lots of love.

“I love you mom,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback photo of Jenner wearing sunglasses, silver hoops, and a diamond ‘Bling’ T-shirt.

“No one is more thoughtful, sentimental, generous, supportive and forgiving than you!” he added. “You truly are the life of any party! No one has ever made a caftan on a cruise ship look better than you.”

Making fun of her post delay, she added, “I didn’t forget to post on Mother’s Day, I just thought I had a better chance of you seeing it today, I love you so much!”
