TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Family store Tyler Salvation Army held their first children’s fashion show in honor of National Salvation Army Week.

A total of 10 models walked the runway from ages 3 months to six years.

The Tyler Salvation Army family store manager, Darlene Rawlinson, says her goal is to support children in need.

It’s actually national Salvation Army week, so we wanted to celebrate it by celebrating the kids. There are many children in our community who have needs and are here to meet those needs, says Rawlinson.

Free toys, hot dogs, chips and drinks were provided to the models, their families and the community.

So we decided to have a fashion show that would be held annually featuring clothing that came from in-store, says Rawlinson. We know that times are tough for families right now.
