A Montz man who was arrested at a Kenner Walmart on Monday is accused of using his cell phone to record under the clothes of women shopping at the store, according to Kenner police.

Justin Simmons, 22, was jailed on two counts of video voyeurism for allegedly taking photos and videos under customers’ clothing at a Walmart at 8912 Veterans Boulevard.

At 9:07 pm on June 5, officers went to a Walmart and met a security guard who informed them that Simmons had used his phone to take photos under women’s clothing. Before they could arrest him, police said they saw Simmons taking another photo of an unsuspecting customer’s underclothes.

Simmons was arrested, a search warrant for his phone was served and police say they found the photos, which had at least two women in the shop photographed.

Kenner Police said Simmons had been arrested before at St. Charles for multiple accusations of video voyeurism. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Kenner police at (504) 712-2222 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
