David Bowie filmed a Labyrinth dancer marching with a neighboring fashion designer on top of the Peckham boundary wall

A dancer who appeared alongside David Bowie in the 1986 film Labyrinth has vowed to fight like a tiger in a garden wall war with his neighbors.

Susan Lee, 71, was locked in a row with Vanessa and Andrew McVickers atop the brickwork that runs between their 1 million home in the upscale section of Peckham, south London.

The neighbors fell out after fashion designer Mrs McVickers, 56, and her 58-year-old husband, who is an executive in the fruit-growing industry, disclosed plans to build an extension of their three-bed home, involving demolition and redevelopment. the wall separating their 1930s home.

Ms Lee – who goes by the name San Lee plays a ballroom dancer in the cult musical fantasy film – refused to agree to the wall being torn down, but last May her neighbors earned a Party Wall Award which allowed them to go ahead.

He is now fighting in the Mayor and City of London Court to have the award overturned on the grounds that the wall is wholly on his land and any Party Wall Awards associated with it are invalid.

Apart from her appearances in Labyrinth, dancer and dance teacher Ms Lee also had roles in The Bill in 1989, Inspector Morse in 1990 and EastEnders as Dr Lam in 1996.
