I bought a $3,000 wedding dress at a thrift store for $20

Olivia, who uses @tinneyo on TikTok, found a new $3,000 wedding dress at a local thrift store for just $20.

The bride and groom posted 37 second clipwhich now has more than 560,000 views since May, shared how he hit a deal that was too good to be true.

“I went into the clothing section, not even formal wear. I just walked over there,” Olivia shared. “And I just happened to find a new brand with wedding dresses.”

The ivory wedding dress combines a classic look with a deep V-neck lace and mermaid suit.

Even though she will be walking down the aisle next year, Olivia is still looking for her dream dress. So, he decided to give second-hand stuff a try that he said wasn’t “a thing [she] will choose at first.

When she put the dress on, she found it “amazing”, but not enough to buy it on the spot even though it only cost $20.

Nearly 1,200 people commented under the viral video begging Olivia to come back and get the dress.

“BACK! If you don’t wear it, you can sell it or donate it to someone else,” one viewer demanded.

“$20 bucks and you didn’t buy it?” asked another. “Run don’t walk..amazing.”

In a follow-up videosOlivia took her follower’s advice and did just that: She ran back to the thrift store and bought the dress.

“Finally I got it,” he admits. “She’s absolutely gorgeous, she still has the tag on, she’s in perfect shape.”

The TikToker revealed the gown was a “Wtoo” piece from the Watters Bridal collection, which costs between $2,000 and $3,000.

Even though the Colorado resident took the garment home, he still wasn’t 100% selling it.

“I’m getting married on the beach and it’s a little too glamorous for me, but I’d love it if I couldn’t find anything.”

However, some brides are ready to rip a size six gown out of Olivia’s hands.

“Some people have asked me if I would be interested in selling it to them,” he shared. “I’d be happy to pass this on as long as you pay for the delivery.”

Olivia will officially decide if she keeps the dress later this month.

Meanwhile, many people are trying to convince the bride and groom to wear the dress.

“No, you have to wear it!” one person’s comment. “That’s a mermaid dress. It would be perfect for a beach wedding.”

“You can use it before the wedding in a beach shoot where you’ll all be splashing around!” another added.

“So many of us choose a different wedding dress than we think we want. I love the romance of this dress choosing you,” one woman chimed in.

Olivia fired back by saying, “Thank you so much. I love her story and how she found me!”
