Tunis Fashion Week: A call to action

This year’s Tunis Fashion Week took place at the Museum of Carthage, a recent recipient of hefty European Union funding. The setting for the 14th edition was chosen by show founder Anis Montacer. He launched his own label, Outa, with a collection made from recycled plastic waste. Also worth mentioning are Portuguese designers Joana Maltez, young Tunisian designers Haroun Ghanmi and Mouna Ben Braham, who are reinventing the traditional Tunisian wedding dress.
