A woman on TikTok claims she received malicious threats from a groom after exposing a woman for wearing a white satin dress to her wedding in a viral TikTok video.
It’s wedding season and that means drama. Although weddings are meant to be stress-free celebrations of love, they can turn frenzied thanks to a determined bride, jealous mother-in-law, and attention-seeking guests.
One such guest went viral on TikTok and sparked a huge debate about what is and is not appropriate to wear at a wedding.

While individual weddings usually boast a dress code that works for the existing couple, it is common knowledge guests should avoid white clothes at all costs especially the white dress. This is to avoid the brilliance of the bride who should be the center of attention on her special day.

Women have come under fire for wearing white satin dresses to weddings
Well, it looks like one of the wedding guests didn’t get the memo, and she went viral because of her choice of outfit.
On July 4, Ukrainian TikToker Kristina Drobach re-uploading a previously deleted clip from a warehouse wedding attended in Malibu, showing one of the guests wearing a white, satin, two-piece ensemble that looks very similar to a wedding dress.

The video instantly went viral, garnering a reported 20 million views before being taken down. The re-uploaded version has garnered nearly a million views in just two days.
Drobach uploaded a follow-up video a little later, in which he explains the situation in greater detail. Apparently, the woman’s gown had been the topic of conversation at the wedding and many guests (and even the venue staff) had confused it for the bride before the bride herself could make her grand entrance.

The bride was so disappointed, because she saw this woman in the dress before even officially walking down the aisle, said Drobach.

Not only that; the woman was allegedly a friend of the groom, and since no one wanted to spoil the evening, nothing was said to her then. However, that all changed after Drobach uploaded her viral video which finally caught the attention of the groom-to-be.

The groom sent me three voice messages with direct threats, he explained. Like, really gross and nasty messages.
Commenters split after women wore white dresses at weddings
Thankfully, it seems like things have died down since then, but the whole fiasco has sparked conversation online, with many users debating appropriate wedding attire in the comments.
Honestly it doesn’t even outshine the bride, argued one onlooker. It looks like a regular two-piece set. Not a big problem.
This dress can’t be compared with a wedding dress! another said.

Even if you misread the vibe, that is material for me too, replied one commenter.
So no one drinks red wine? another commenter suggested.
This is just the latest wedding drama to take over TikTok after the couple’s grand entrance to their ceremony was completely ruined by an army of kids cutting in front of them.
