Edmonton Goodwill is hosting an inclusive fashion show on Whyte Ave

Models strutted their wares on Whyte Ave in support of the thrifty and disabled community on Saturday.

The second annual Goodwill Fashion Show on Whyte Avenue was held at noon on Saturday to showcase the Mission Impact program, which specializes in finding job opportunities and job training for those with disabilities or disabilities, said a press release.

Models work the runway in everything from Canadian Tuxedos to eighties vintage, accompanied by tunes from live DJs on the spot.

The models are volunteers from the program, with a special appearance by model Kello Inclusive, who also stars on the show CBC television show Push.

Kello is a disability-focused media company that strives to showcase the power and beauty of disability.

The event is an opportunity for members of the Goodwill Mission Impact program to express themselves, create and show the world how second-hand clothing is the perfect outlet for self-expression, said the organizers.
