Catherine, Princess of Wales has returned to Wimbledon for the 2023 women’s final, and she has brought the sun to light… even if the British weather has other ideas. Dressed in a stunning lime green midi dress from Self-Portrait, the Princess looked ready for a summer party, matching the colorful ensemble with 18-carat pearl and Cassandra Goad diamond earrings and a pale pink Emmy London purse.
England may be under the grip of a weather warning, but the Princess of Wales has brought some summer fun in her newest Wimbledon outfit.
Opting to battle the high winds and forecast rain, Kate – who introduced the half-up, half-down hairstyle for the first time at the tournament – opted for fresh, springy colors, in a palette of pale pink and lime green.
Dressed in the Self-Portrait Lime Boucle Collared Chiffon Midi Dress just days after rocking the first stylish mint green blazer, fans on social media are already asking if there’s a color that doesn’t suit the Princess.

Her brand Self-Portrait describes the outfit Kate chose as “like a breath of fresh air, this green midi dress is ideal for garden parties and al fresco lunches. It’s framed in short sleeves and a tailored bouclé top, tied at the waist to accentuate its shape, before flowing downwards into a pleated chiffon midi skirt. Pair it with sunglasses and sandals for a summer ready look.”
The outfit that Kate chose also speaks volumes because it doesn’t just look green.
True to their commitment to reduce waste and focus on brands with a positive environmental message, Self-Portrait is a brand that places an emphasis on giving back.

The designer not only funds the work of five students in London, developing the next generation of the Kingdom’s favorite designers, the brand explains how they are “making a conscious effort to increase our contribution to the circular economy and are committed to reducing our impact on the environment by utilizing more responsibly sourced fibers.” in our collection.”
They added, “Self-Portrait hopes to provide women with beautiful designs that stand the test of time. We firmly believe that valuing every purchase is also key in providing a more sustainable future for our industry.”
We suspect having the Princess of Wales as an unofficial ambassador will surely motivate more women to invest in Self-Portrait clothing (or several).
For her purse, Kate chose what seems to be her favorite style, the Emmy London clutch bag.
Today’s wallet seems to be the color of Biscuits.
