There are those really good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that you totally stick with, that you try desperately to recreate at home. In the ‘Incredible Outfits in Fashion History,’ fashionista editors revisit their all-time favorite perverts.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Fine has built a drag empire, with 15 seasons (and counting) of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and 15 international franchises celebrating drag around the world. The Queen of Drag has also given countless appearances over that period of time, from a a fiery Bob Mackie dress worn by Cher and Beyoncé Zaldymany amazing custom creations that leave us asking for more.

However, at the top of my personal favorites list are the eye-catching silver gown and leather mini dress that RU wore in 1993. Music Awards billboard, for which she won two awards for her single “Supermodel (You Better Work).” This outfit is 70s-style, with exaggerated, pointy sleeves, but still feels planted in the ‘90swith a black leather mini dress on top and, of course, a black choker, featuring a sparkling pendant fit for a queen.

Though RuPaul typically sports honey hair color and fuller brows these days, this make-up look from 1993 is very much right for its era, with vampy lips and thin, arched brows. Platinum blonde hair brings it all together with supermodel reality. (None nails would probably read up on the “Drag Race” runway, though.)
