Over the past year, we have become accustomed to dressing up to sit in front of our computers. The front row has gone virtual, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see parts of the comfort of your own home. One Night in Miami actor Aldis Hodge sneaks into a sweet look to watch the new Ermenegildo Zegnas menswear movie spring 2022 on Friday just him, his nice clothes, and his laptop. On Friday, Zegnas creative director Alessandro Sartori debuted his latest menswear collection, featuring plenty of casual stitching and breezy summer wear. Hodge watched the new collection when it was released, and he was immediately drawn to the subtle, modern details of the outfit. The material choices, color palette, and form language are all quite appealing in subtle but engaging ways, says Hodge. I think they created a new way of looking at summer suits.
Knowing he was going for a sleek men’s line, Hodge dressed the part in a utilitarian Zegna jacket paired with a simple tee and label luxe, three-stitched sneakers. The Chore jacket has a little bit of adjustment, so it’s really shaping the body well, he says. The shoes are also very comfortable and the tee fits perfectly into any outfit I like. Fit, but comfortable. She plans to continue this fashion vibe throughout the summer. My summer vibe will be comfortable, unique, and exciting, says Hodge. I like to use visual arts. I love clothes that push the DNA of design and the idea of what fashion is and can be.
Not that it has a lot of time to focus on fit this summer. The actor will be busy the next few months (work hard and play hard, he says), starting with a few film projects. I will finish production on Black Adam while preparing to start production on Parallel with my brother, Edwin Hodge, he said. I will also prepare for season 3 City on the Hill at showtime. In between all the filming, Hodge will also manage his conceptual art studio, titled 9B. “We’ve been working on several feature films and animation projects that will start in the next few weeks,” he said. Oh yes, he launched a watch brand called A. Hodge Atelieras well. I’m almost done developing movement, says Hodge. I have a prototype and the finished product will be here soon. Can not wait!
