BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) — Goodwill from West New York help the bride say “yes to the dress,” for much less. Its annual bridal sale is held on Saturdays from 9am – 2pm. It happened outside his location at 1119 William Street in Buffalo.

“They will see two large tents and under that tent we will have a large selection of new and used wedding dresses, formal wear, children’s wear and a large selection of accessories,” said Marketing Manager, Linda Maraszek.

There are over 200 wedding dresses to choose from, marked with prices ranging from $50 to $150 dollars. When brides shop, they also support Goodwill’s mission. “All we do is help people find work and develop their careers, so they can support themselves and their families,” Maraszek said. “Customers can feel good about helping others.”

The event is also a one-stop shop for wedding planning. “Need flowers? The flower tops will be here. Need a wedding cake? Tops bakery will be present,” he said.

Those involved said being a part of the bride’s big day and helping to make things more affordable was invaluable. “When they put on the ‘one’ dress, it just gives you goosebumps and that’s what we’re here for,” said Maraszek.
