The deadlock between Massachusetts Police and gunmen close Interstate 95 north of Boston in the early hours of Saturday, leading to in-place protection orders for two nearby communities ending after 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Police announced on twitter at around 10:30 am that all nine suspects involved in the standoff had been taken into custody, including two who were arrested in the morning.

The in-place protection order for residents of Wakefield and Reading was lifted following the arrests.

What caused the deadlock on Interstate 95?

In the video posted to YouTube with Rise of the Moors account, a man wearing camouflage clothing and a helmet filmed himself reporting on the incident, stating that the men were “not breaking the law.”

In a separate video, the man states the group “traveled to our private land to train.”

Based on report from WCVB, a Massachusetts state policeman spotted two vehicles on a damaged interstate lane at around 1:30 a.m. and stopped to offer assistance to motorists.

What police found, Massachusetts State Police Colonel Christopher Mason, told TV stations, were 8 to 10 men trying to refuel the vehicle. The men wore tactical-style gear and were armed with rifles and pistols, Mason said.
